MS Surya Skills Development Pvt. Ltd. is a residential security training institute designed, moduled and conforming to the Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act 2005 and West Bengal Security Agencies (Regulation) Rules 2007. The rules have been notified by Government of West Bengal and have come into force with effect from 08 May 2007.The institute became operational from November, 2016 at Baruipur in South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, India.

Security Guards are the first line of defense against crime. With unpredictable situations, and terror on the rise, the guards are required to gain some basic knowledge on how to react in emergency situations. Additionally, different sectors in the corporate and industry require guards to behave and react accordingly. Ironically with about 5 million people in the security industry, 1.3 million more than India’s police and armed forces combined, formal training to the Security guards has been missing till recent past.

India’s Private Security Agencies Regulation Act, 2005 (PSARA), was created to improve private security standards in the country by issuing licenses to security companies. It also sets minimum standards for security guards, such as 160 hours of training before deployment. Private Security Agencies Regulation Act, 2005 (PSARA) has made it obligatory for the Private security agencies to impart formal training to its guards force.

Presently the Institute has limited 50 seats, per session having individual bed facilities, modern kitchen, 6 toilets, 24 hours water, spacious class room and a spectacular parade ground. The natural ambience and the hygienic atmosphere are added advantages.

A team of experienced and trained professionals are dedicatedly engaged in imbibing security and safety curriculum, developing soft skills, focusing more on practical’s, and also tuning the trainees in physical endurance and drill within a span of 20 stipulated working days.

The stress is more on building a perfect combating force who would deliver the need of the Industrial Security and the Corporate and response to the long standing demand of private and even public sectors.
